huni

  • Handcrafted in Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula, Huni unites ancient Mayan honey rituals with modern bio-tech formulation to create clean, high performance care that truly smells, and feels, real.  Every product celebrates the hive: rich textures, natural glow and the unmistakable scent of authentic honey.

The task:  build a premium regenerative beauty brand ready for international retail, whilst staying true to the essence of purity, integrity, craftsmanship and care.

Huni needed to feel heritage rich yet innovation led - a brand that connects nature, design and bio-technology in a way the beauty industry had never seen before.

  • We reimagined the brand from the hive up and Huni was born - “Pure Beauty, Powered by Bees.”

A global brand that unites ancient honey rituals with bio-tech innovation to redefine what clean beauty can mean.  Designed to restore the ecosystems, communities and crafts that make beauty possible.

At its heart, Huni is a luxury clean beauty brand that doesn’t just sustain, it regenerates.

  • Strategy & Brand Foundation
→ Defined Huni’s core purpose: to reconnect people with nature through regenerative self care.
→ Developed brand pillars:  Clean. Conscious. Sensory. Regenerative.
→ Positioned Huni as the world’s first bio-tech honey beauty brand, powered by heritage and innovation in equal measure.

    Naming & Narrative
→ Crafted a name that felt natural, elegant and globally distinctive - short, warm and human.
→ Defined messaging around the brand’s essence: “Pure Beauty, Powered by Bees.”
→ Built storytelling frameworks focused on craftsmanship, bio-tech innovation and environmental restoration.

    Creative Concept & Design
→ Designed living packaging - biodegradable seed paper cartons that burst into wildflowers, feeding pollinators and closing the loop between beauty and biodiversity.
→ Designed a full visual identity system:  honey-amber palette, modern apothecary typography, and tactile, sunlit imagery.
→ Created the product ecosystem:  packaging design, tone of voice and campaign art direction blending craft and innovation.

    Bio-Tech & Formulation Storytelling
→ Built brand language around bio-tech enhanced botanicals and nature led performance.
→ Crafted messaging to make innovation feel sensory, not sterile - “apply, breathe, restore.”

    Sensory Experience
→ The golden aroma in every bottle isn’t added perfume, it’s the natural fragrance of pure Mayan honey.
→ When you open Huni, you smell the hive - “warm, sweet and alive”.
→ The authentic scent connects back to nature making Huni instantly recognisable and emotionally memorable - “smells like real honey, because it is”

    Content & Production
→ Directed and produced photography and film across Mexico and the UK, capturing artisan makers, hives and the golden textures of the Yucatán landscape.
→ Created investor and retail decks, e-commerce copy and content for beehuni.com.
